Dresden and Meissen Christmas Market 2024

Visit these 2 beautiful Christmas Markets in one day from Prague!  First, I pick you up at your hotel or place of stay in Prague and then we drive north to Germany and to Dresden.  The trip is just over an hour, weather permitting.  We visit the Striezelmarkt which is the main square in Dresden as well as the traditional home of all seasonal markets.  The festive atmosphere, the carusel, the lit up stalls, the scent of "Glühwein - the spiced red wine" as well as the traditional "Thühringer Bratwurst" is in the air.  Enjoy!  Later, we continue to a small town outside of Dresden, Meissen.  It is not only the birthplace of European porcelain, its' castle above the river and the traditional German architecture give it a special flair.  Perhaps purchase a porcelain piece or two or just enjoy the festive street food and ambience.  We return to Prague in the evening hours.  Frohe Weihnachten!  Merry Christmas!
