Blanka:
Karen and I enjoyed 9 wonderful days in Prague and the surrounding area, in large part, due to the tours and arrangements you and Prague PG made for us. Your attention to detail and understanding of what we wanted to experience were key to making the various day trips and in-town walking tours a memorable experience. For us, visiting another country is as much about learning the culture and the history as it is simply "seeing the sights".

I have to say that your responsiveness to our many requests, the ability to adapt to our changing needs, injecting a healthy dose of history and culture into our conversations made for a very memorable experience ... and hopefully a long term friendship.

Thanks so much for making this one of our most memorable experiences in Europe. Also, feel free to use us as a reference for anyone who is trying to decide what they want to do while in Prague.

PS: We'll be sending some pictures in a separate e-mail.

Blanka
Just a quick note to say all went well with our Prague/Krakow trip.
Everything ran smoothly, all pickups were there when required and Helena and Greg, were great guides.

You  are lucky to have a great Country…we did a trip down to Cesky Krumlov on one of the days and had a good look at some of the countryside, and that great Heritage town.

We were also really impressed with Krakow,…we didn’t expect it to be as compact and steeped in such history as it is…almost like a smaller version of Prague….we enjoyed our time in Poland a lot.

Thanks for putting the programme together for us, and making sure we were looked after.

Regards

Dear Blanka
We returned home yesterday after a wonderful stay in Prague, largely thanks to you! Graham and Bob thoroughly enjoyed their tour of the Skoda factory and never stopped talking about it - in fact, I've just spoken to my daughter and she said if Bob mentions it once more, divorce could be on the cards! In their absence, Andrea and I managed to spend a lot of money and also had a great day! We thought the dinner cruise was magical and provided a great ending to our holiday. Thanks again for your efficient and friendly help and we will most certainly be in touch again when we are planning to return to Prague - possibly around October time.
Best regards
Jean
PS - next time you're in the UK, if you've got time to spare, please don't hesitate to contact us - we'd love to see you

Hi Blanka,

I am leaving back to the states tomorrow AM from Budapest and I wanted to thank you on behalf of William & Kelly for both you & Peter's hospitality in Dresden & Messein. We had a really really good time and from your tour, we have established quite an expectation on what a private tour guide would be/should be. Prague Private Tour is our first private tour and I am so glad that we chose to have your Company to take us to Dresden. It's a bit sad that we can't stay in Prague any longer or I would book the Vienna trip with you as well. Our private tour in Vienna was only with the driver. He is a very nice gentlemen but unfortunately he was doing the driving/guide and he was pretty quiet. He is very flexible (like you) & knows his history but unfortunately, he just wasn't as professional as you where you would explain the sites as we go (he mainly walk ahead.. and we just follow a bit to the place and he talks about the site). Anyway, thanks so much again. I am not 100% sure if we will ever visit Prague in the near future again but should we do or if we have friends that do, I would STRONGLY recommend that we/they contact you for a private tour.

Sincerely,
Mag

I already located the Sans Souci. http://www.ms-sanssouci.de/index2.html I do not think that this ship is more luxurueus, but at least they seem to be a small company and that means more direct service. I will contact them and see what I can do for the next season... Keep in touch!

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful Prague experience. The tour
was perfect for our needs. I must tell you that the New Year's Eve
cruise was WONDERFUL. We had the best time. There were only about 45
people on the boat and we had a superb evening. By 9:45 we had
finished eating and I said to Jim, "What are we going to do until 2
a.m.?" But the time just flew by. We made acquaintances with several
of the passengers and before you realized it, the fireworks display
began (spectacular) and we all started dancing - even the crew. It was
2 a.m. all too quickly and our driver was there waiting for us.

Thank you again - by the way, the concert, too, at Municipal House was
excellent.

Looking forward to a return visit to Prague - perhaps in warmer weather.

Hi Blanka-
Just wanted to tell you what a fabulous time we had with Marketa on Sunday and what a great tour she gave us. Sunday morning turned out to be the perfect time. We had no crowds for the first two hours of the tour. Marketa is incredibly knowledgeable and also has a contagious enthusiasm. I know she must do this all the time, but she talked to us without the feeling that this had become rountine for her. She imparted so much of  history and so many interesting details we would not have learned otherwise. Also, she helped us negotiate the tram system and direct what we would do for the afternoon after she left us.

Truly, our private tour with Marketa was a highlight of our trip to Prague. Thanks for making her available to us and I'd be happy to serve as a testimonial if needed.

'til next time-

Dear Blanka,

I can't believe that a week has flown past since our wonderful visit to Prague..........I guess sorting out final details for Richard's wedding tomorrow has taken priority over everything else since we got back.

The reason for writing today is to thank you for a couple of things. Firstly, your helpful advice during the planning stages which meant I could put together the best possible schedule for our time in the city maximising every opportunity during the 48 hours we were there.

Secondly, connecting us with Petr Zidek, our guide for the day, who was such an authority on his subject that he brought the city to life for us and was a source of invaluable recommendations for our final evening's dining and "entertainment". We had the best time!

I hope his own wedding plans went well last week. Please pass him our best wishes!

And finally, our thanks again to you delivering everything you promised......on time and on budget!

I hope we'll be back again in your beautiful city one day and I would definitely use your company to plan our visit.

With best wishes,

Hugh

On April 24th, our return flight leaves Prague at 9:50 am.  I think the confusion is that we are fying Swiss Air, Flight # 1485.  Please let me know if this does not verify at your end.

Dear Blanka,

Who says that private tour guide is only for the riches and famous. My sister is a student and I work full time. We came to an agreement on budget that fits both of our needs. The process with you is very simple and the service you've given us has been exceptional especially the attention to details and your sincerity. I wish you're a wedding planner too, so you could organise my wedding :). We came to you with our requirements and wishes to see both Prague and Krakow with some excursions outside the cities. You came back to us promptly and worked out the most efficient trip for us. Prague and Krakow are both beautiful cities but you made it our experience twice better (we really enjoyed the private walk tour guide by yourself and a guide in Krakow). All the other organised tours, the pick ups to/fro airport and other destinations're very prompt, friendly, professional and organised. We always prefer a local person who speaks English rather than a non-local English guide as we're a traveller not a tourist and you've certainly provided that. Thanks for the recommendations on going to the local restaurants as requested by us where we're the only foreigners :).  The trip is definetely value for money, you get more than you paid for. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience you've given us. You made us want to come back...one day soon hopefully :)

I just wanted to say that we had the most amazing tour of Terezin last
Sunday guided by Radek Cizek. His knowledge made the whole trip so
meaningful and we enjoyed his company. We could easily have kept going
for several more hours.

Although we are never going to forget the visit (especially as 2 of the

of the Czech Republic during and since the War.   Please convey our

Dear Blanka

Sorry for the delay in contacting you with our many thanks for the wonderful private tour and recommendations.  You were the highlight of our visit to Prague.  We met in the lobby of the Inter-Continental Hotel on Mon. Oct. 13th.  You helped us decide to get opera tickets for 'The
Bartered Bride' at the National Theater which was fabulous!  We rode the metro to Waldstein Palace Gardens with strange grotto walls, walked across Charles Bridge and stopped in the museum cafe for delightful coffee and the exclusive elixir.  Then on to Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock and Tower.  And you shared quite a bit of the historical perspectives that are so interesting.

Later we lunched on the Hotel U Prince terrace (incredible views), took the Vltava River boat tour, and attended the opera (both the venue and performance were terrific!).  The Lobkowicz Palace Museum was awesome as was our lunch on the terrace cafe.  What a beautiful and incredible city; we hope we can return someday.  We loved it and shall remember it always.  Thank you for your special part in making it so.

Hi Blanka,
We have returned from our trip to Prague and Budapest.  We want to thank you for organizing our trip to the Czech Republic.  All of our tours were great and well organized.  Alexandra and our drivers were punctual every day, which is appreciated in a big city.  Alexandra did a very nice job of getting us around.  Her fund of knowledge on all subjects, including, of course, the Czech Republic, was amazing.  We were convince she must have a photographic memory.  It was fun to chat about various topics not related to tourism.  We appreciated you both arranging our return from Kuntna Hora early enough to visit Josefov, due to the closings for the Jewish holiday on the preceding days.
We can also heartily recommend The Icon Hotel for your customers.  Only 31 rooms, we had a "deluxe" room which was quite large, including the bathroom.  Full breakfast, including "hot" items to order.  Their transfer service from the airport and to the train station was prompt and moderately priced for a private, reliable service.  The staff and manager were friendly and helpful.
Thanks again for your efforts.  You may certainly add us to your referral list.

Subj: Prague PG is hands down the best!

Hello Blanka –

I wanted to drop you a quick note of sincere thanks for the outstanding service that you provided me and my group of fellow travelers.  The walking tour of Prague you gave was well beyond my expectations, and your historical knowledge and contextual comments made for a thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience.  I truly believe that I gained insight into the wonderful city of Prague and its people that would be nearly impossible to ascertain without your expertise.

You also provided valuable assistance to our group in regards to our travel arrangements from Prague to Vienna – which I am fully aware was well beyond the scope of your responsibility.  I was amazed by your willingness (almost insistence) to personally take me to the train station to purchase seat reservations for the group when you realized that vital component was missing from our travel documents.  And you even took me to the train station via the subway so that I could gain yet another (very interesting) experience in Prague!  You and your company put the welfare of our group ahead of all else, and I am certain that our trip to Vienna would have been chaotic without your determination to inform us and work through the red tape that we were woefully ill-equipped to handle on our own.  As if what you already had done was not enough, you continually followed-up with us to make sure that we were safe and where we needed to be!

I can confidently attest that Prague PG is an outstanding, world-class outfit.  I will highly recommend Prague PG to anyone considering a trip not only to Prague, but to the overall region.  You and your company made an impression that will forever stand out for me as I reminisce about this trip.  Thank you again for your expertise and genuine care!

Best regards,

Steve Poston

Dear Blanka,

For your testimonial.

We met Hana and she spent the afternoon  explaining the history of Prague with an enthusiasm and passion. She made the tour interesting and enjoyable without being too intellectual. I'm looking forward to visiting Prague again to see the rest of the sights that our short visit omitted.

I have meant to reply to your email for a long time but things just get too busy.  I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Prague!  It is a beautiful city with much to offer.  Yianna was an awesome guide; please thank her for showing us a good time.  On our tour, on the way to the castle, I believe, she pointed out a small pension in a quiet area.  It was quaint and not too fancy.  Yianna had customers who stayed there.  I would love to have the name and contact details of that place.  I would like to look into it as a possility for accomodations on a future trip.

Thank you very much!

You will remember our group from the Big Island that chartered a tour September 25th to Karlovy Vary with drop off at Chateau Berstejn in Duba.

Our guide was the affable Peter who was very good and quite knowledgeable.  He complimented your organization by saying you run the best tour company in Prague.

My wife and I decided to treat Peter to our luncheon at the Hotel Pupp, for which he was very thankful.  He said it was the best meal he had ever been served in the Czech Republic.

We will certainly recommend your company to our friends in the future.  Once again, thanks so much.

Dear Jana Mlejnska,

We just returned from our trip to Prague, and we really enjoyed the visit very much. You really live and work in the prettiest city we have ever visited. We really enjoyed touring with Helena Sedlmajerova, she was so helful, sweet, smart, and easy to be with. We were with her for three different days, and really learned an awful lot. She made everything easy to understand and enjoy. I would like you to send her this e-mail from us, and thank her again for allowing us to have a special time in Prague. We are home only two days, but will enjoy remembering the wonderful experiences for a long time.

Helena: Leonard and I thank you again for being our guide. You gave us a wonderful history lesson as well. We learned so much, and truly was excited seeing such a beautiful city.(even if it was wintertime) We wish you many pleasant experiences traveling, and allowing others to learn from you as well. We will tell our friends to ask for you to guide them when in Prague. By the way, last night we listened to the CD we bought (as you suggested) and it was really wonderful. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
I closed my eyes and pretended I was still in Prague.

Stay well, and best wishes.

Hi ...

Just to say I had a great time on the river cruise on New Years Eve, the staff were great, the food was fantastic and we had great views of the firework displays on the bridge, it will be a New Years Eve, I'll remember for a long time and it was my first new years eve with my boyfriend which made it extra special!  The only negative comment I would have is that it was stated there would be a DJ on board but there was a guy on a keyboard for the night.
But it was still great.
Thanks again

Blanka M. Lukes - Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit to Prague on 6 and 7 September.  Our guide, Hana Pepperna, was wonderful.  Very knowledgeable, thoroughly professional, and very willing to adjust to our specific interests.  We could not have had such a delightful visit to your lovely city stumbling about on our own.

Dear Blanka,

I am sorry that it has taken so long to write. It has been very
hectic since we returned. We wanted to thank you for the excellent
tours which you arranged. They added tremendously to our visit to
Prague.

Do you know  where we could  buy an english book with color photos
about Karlstejn including the chapel, and a book on the prague
synagogues?

Be well and thanks again.

Cordially,

Jeff Lieblich

Dear Blanka M. Lukes,  Thank you for providing us with a very good driver and guide for our tour to Mysliborice. They both were interesting and friendly. We enjoyed our time in the Czech Republic and hope to return in the future. Thanks again.
