My professional background includes theories of culture and history.

I therefore tend to place the story of the Czech Republic within a larger context, relating local events and history to the cultures of Europe, explaining various styles of art and architecture within their timeframes.

I mix history  with myths and legends; explain contemporary Czech culture and current day politics, but also tell you how the public transport works, which taxi’s won’t rip you off and what’s going on in town during your visit.
